The Glitter Ball and Oleg Kulik

Whilst reading The Body in Contemporary Art by Sally o’Reilly I came across Oleg Kulik’s Armadillo for your show, 2003.

The book describes the performance piece done by Kulik in the Tate Modern London’s Turbine hall. They use ‘ogling’to describe the audience and ‘rotating grandiosely’ to give us a detailed account of the performance artist.

This brought back the idea I had regarding the mirrors and incorporating Joan Jonas’s ideas regarding the mirror.
